Music has always been an integral part of Rudy’s life. He grew up both singing and playing the French horn. His love for music led to the decision to be a music educator and taught instrumental music in the Roseville school district for 30 years. He was highly regarded by administrators, colleagues, parents and most importantly his students. He was honored by being recognized as one of Roseville Schools outstanding educators.
Rudy conducted the Seward Community Band for four years. As a performer, Rudy was principal French horn for many years with the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Northeast Orchestra, the Minneapolis Brass Ensemble, Prevailing Winds Woodwind Quintet and other ensembles. He enjoys singing with choral groups and arranging music for unique ensembles of voices and instruments.
In all his experiences, relationship building with the “greater good” in mind is always at the forefront.
